John has earned his reputation in the world of merchant processing through years of dedication and perseverance. A self-starter in the business, John made the transition to credit card processing after more than two decades as a well-respected, successful, entertainment industry figure. He has amassed the knowledge, the contacts, and the personal “hands-on” experiences that characterize triumph in any field.
Born in Stamford, Connecticut, John’s early life was infused with principles and values that reinforced an earnest approach to life. The multi-lingual Pace University business graduate subsequently accepted a position with Xerox Corporation and rapidly rose to a top ranking sales executive, receiving the “Top Salesman of the Year” award in 1978.
Concurrently, John’s interests expanded to include the film and television industry. Pioneering into new territory John brought the insights and strengths gained from his continuing work in sales, and created the “LaRocca Talent Group”. He was extremely successful in this transition and ultimately became known for his ability to single-handedly launch the careers of an impressive list of stars. As a talent agent and manager some of his clients have included Michelle Pfeiffer, Demi Moore, Frank Stallone, Tony Curtis, Mickey Rourke, Herbert Lom, Brenda Vaccaro, John Amos, and Franco Nero.
